I hear people tell me all the time that network marketing is hard. They also say building a business is hard.
Folks lament the possibility of not having an easy path, and avoid things that are hard. They think they spent all those years in school, and that was the hard part. They think the hard part is over now.
They think that now that they've done that, things should be easy.
Well, I have a newsflash for you, Life is just not going to get easier, you just have to learn how to work through the hard part. You do this until the hard becomes the routine, and that's the closest thing you'll get to easy.
Staying in a job you hate, getting paid a fraction of what your worth, is that hard or easy? The answer is that it is hard. It's hard to stay at a place you dislike and get paid a fraction of what you're worth. The problem is, so many do it.
Now is developing a network marketing business, motivating yourself, developing yourself, taking a ton of rejection, is that hard or easy? Of course it's hard.
So the reality is that they are both hard! Staying in that crappy job and getting paid way less than you're worth is hard, and so I is building a network marketing business. But where's the payoff, where's the reward in staying in that stupid job?
So here's the point; you have to choose your hard. You can choose the ups and downs of doing a network marketing business and having a future of freedom and choice or you can stay in the current hard and be with that job that will never change.
Do you want to live with the regret of staying in the same situation forever, or do you want to live in the satisfaction of knowing that you built something that paid you what your worth? Choose your hard!
Having someone else tell you what to do every day is hard. Telling yourself what to do, and motivating yourself is hard. Choose your hard.
Going to your company convention and doing whatever it takes to get there is hard. Not going to your convention is also hard. Dealing with a disappointing in reality of missing out is very difficult. Which are you going to choose?
Let's take a look at perspective. Just about everything that you wants now consider easy, was once hard. When you were a baby and you were learning to walk that was hard. When you were learning to read in elementary school and came across words you didn't understand, that was hard. It was once hard to ride a bicycle, now you can do it without thinking.
They call it growing pains for a reason. If you're going to grow in your network marketing business there's going to be pain. It's going to be hard. Until it becomes routine, your existence will be surrounded with difficulty.
You might have to accept the fact that it's going to be uncomfortable to get where you want to go. Disciplining myself was once very difficult, now it's much more easy. Taking the daily steps towards growth was once an uncomfortable task, now it's a habit.
Reading and learning was once extremely difficult for me and now it's second nature.
Choose your hard.
Everything that is now easy in your life was once hard.
It's very difficult to get better and look good at the same time.
Was that helpful? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you commented. Feel free to share it with anyone who might benefit.
